# Password Reset
Resetting your access credentials
In the event you have lost or forgotten your access credentials - you may need to initiate a password reset. To reset your password navigate to the **/login** page.
There are 2 ways you can reset your password:
### Password reset via Email
This is the standard method of password reset. Enter your account email (Note this is your sentinel primary email address), choose option 'Send via Email' and click the 'submit' button.
After submission if your account exists you will receive instructions for password reset via your account email. The reset link provided is time restricted for security.
### Password reset via SMS
In the event you have lost access to your primary email account (e.g. if it has been potentially compromised) you can perform a reset via SMS.
Enter your primary account email and then select the 'Send via SMS' option.
Resetting via SMS requires the additonal entry of your accounts linked MFA application code.
Note that if you have not enabled MFA on your account or there is no primary mobile number associated with you account you will not be able to reset your credentials via this method.
