# Form Configuration

Customised registration form

Navigate to page **/system/registration/register-users** or **/system/registration/register-contacts** to manage the form configurations.

From these pages you can manage all options for the public registration forms.

The form configuration is split into 2 sections. 'Form Settings' and 'Field Configuration'.

### **Form Settings**

**Registration Enabled**

This enables/disables the form. When disabled the registration form url (shown highlighted) will not be accessible to anyone and no registrations will be accepted.

{% hint style="success" %}
Tip: It is best practise to only enable this setting when you are accepting public registrations. For all other times leave registration disabled until required again.
{% endhint %}

**Title**

This is the title text that will be shown on the public registration form.

**Notification Email**

After all successful registration submissions a notification of the registration is sent to the email address specified here. If you do not want to receive notification (for example when you are expecting many submissions) you can leave this field blank.

**Intro Text**

The intro text will be shown at the top of the registration form under the title. This can be used to explain what the form is required for and why registration is being requested.

**Success Message**

The message that is shown to all successful registrants. You can give further instructions or steps that you want to communicate here.

**Submission Approved Email Text**

The text entered here will be included in the notification email sent to successful registrants.

**GDPR Statement**

You can provide any policies or legal statements in this fields. This information will be shown at the bottom of the public registration form.

**Add To Directory**

Specify if you want submissions to be automatically added to system app directories. They will only be added after the submission is approved. If not sure you can leave this setting as 'No'

### Field Configuration

The field configuration section shows all of the available fields which can appear on the public registration form. Note the fields available here are different between User and Contact forms.

This is because User registrations have login ability and more fields available.

Custom labels can be given to some fields - for example if you want a user to enter their 'Home Landline' for the primary landline field you can specify that via the 'Custom Label' field.

Checking the visibility column means that the fields will appear as an option on the registration form.

Checking the required column will force the registrants to complete this field in order to submit the form. Otherwise the field will be an optional field.

{% hint style="info" %}
The padlock icon indicates mandatory fields for all form submissions.

These fields are always required and not configurable.
