# Chat Channels

The Chat Channels instant messaging module is a **fully auditable** communication solution.

Chat Channels allow teams to communicate via text, integrated video call and share files.

The Chat Channel interface can be accessed via web or dedicated iOS/Android App (Sentinel PiNG).

### Chat Interface

The chat interface display all of a User's space and Channel memberships.

From this interface chat and file sharing can take place.

For face-to-face meetings or ad-hoc conversations users can initiate and join Video Crisis Rooms (VCR).

Video Crisis Rooms provide instant, recordable video calls to keep critical business collaboration in place when other systems are no longer available.

The Chat Channels are fully managed from the console.

Channel Administrators can:

* Create and delete channels
* Make channels inactive (to prevent activity)
* Manage channel members
* Review video conference recordings
* Send notifications to channel members
